Terra Preta

In the depths of the Amazonian basin, a specific type of soil is found that is known to be of human origin – but which modern science has so far been unable to reproduce. It seems to have been “primitive man’s” attempt to terraform the Amazon into fertility. - Philip Coppens

The exploration of the South American Continent under the perigee: Zero investigation suggest that the areas involved as "Terra Preta de Indio" or "Amazonian Dark Earths" were overlaid by ejecta deposits from a Perigee: Zero impact. We interpret the Terra Preta landforms to be low hills comprised of a processed amalgam of terrestrial mineral earths and significant organic debris, perhaps as a result of a trenching action across a deeply forested landscape.
