YDB Impact Last Orbit Sequence
- Our current proposal has seven cometary fragments
impacting in a train as their terrestrial orbit decays. On
the last pass, the orbit crosses the equator northerly,
retrograde on azimuth 345, at 89.851 East Longitude.
Altitude taken at 200km here, velocity at 7.82km/sec. The
impacting arrival bearing is roughly along the 87th
latitude, heading south across the 45th down to the 42nd
parallel.
